Coconut oil pulling – does it work? What are the benefits?

So unless you’ve been living under a rock, you may have noticed that coconut oil pulling is the new, shiny trend that all the bloggers, vloggers and beauty and wellbeing lovers are embracing.
Oil pulling is basically when you use oil – usually coconut oil – and swish around your mouth like a mouthwash, for about 20 minutes before spitting out (into your bin, not your sink. Spit in the sink and you’ll need a plumber, as coconut oil solidifies).
Anyway, the internet is collectively raving about coconut oil pulling.  People have claimed it’s cured their cavities, whitened their teeth, reduced bad breath.  Heck, there are even links to it reducing heart disease!
So I was keen to see what all the fuss was about.  I’ve been using it for over three months, and in this video I explain how to do coconut oil pulling, and my honest thought on if I think it works.

I would love to hear from you if tried oil pulling, and whether you think it worked for you.  Leave a comment below and we can talk!
