Mermaid Hair shampoo review: a damning verdict
Here’s the shortcut of my Mermaid Hair Shampoo no1 review – it didn’t work for me. Here’s the why…
Now, as a discerning blogger, I always aim to keep my reviews constructive. I never believe that a product is just ‘bad’ as there usually are some redeeming features. However, there is the very odd occasion when I try a product and just don’t get it. And Mermaid Hair shampoo No1 is one of them.
After hearing rave reviews of Mermaid Hair shampoo, and how mermaid-like it made the users feel, I was intrigued and excited. It is an-all natural shampoo, i.e. no chemical nasties, and promises to be the future of haircare.
Mermaid Hair Shampoo No1 – a cult product
Hailed as a cult product loved by celebrities, the shampoo comes with a price tag of £26. This places it in the higher end of the shampoo market. You can get it at Liberty in London, and online.
I went to Liberty for my purchase, and was super-excited to see if this product lived up to its claims. My current go-to shampoo is Aussie (which I love), so I wanted to know if Mermaid Hair Shampoo would top this.
However, after trying a couple of times (I always like to give products a fair go), I have concluded that it’s ultimately not for me, and I don’t know what the fuss is about. In fact, watch my video with my Mermaid hair shampoo No1washed hair and see for yourself the reason for my meh review.
In the interests of accurate and constructive reporting, I have delivered my video review (which you can see in the top pic, or click here) in the form of a crap sandwich. So there’s *some* positive feedback either end, with the crap in the middle. I hope you like my way with words.
