St Ives facial scrub Natural beauty competition

My St Ives goody box featuring facial scrubs and dried apricots
St Ives’ inspiration box
I was recently invited to enter the #StIvesNaturalBeauty competition, where I was asked to take a photo of what I perceived as natural beauty.
Anyway, to give me some inspiration, I was sent the most beautifully package box ever – an inspiration pack which featured real lavender and another fragrant flower.  Nestled among the foliage and straw was the legendary St Ives facial scrub (which I love!) along with instructions for the competition.
Now while the brief was simple, I was perplexed as to what images of natural beauty I would find living in the bustle of central London.  Not to mention that i was no Rankin. However, I took my camera to the Southbank, and here’s a selection of what I came back with…
Large grass-like leaves
foliage in the city
Strutting pigoen…
A pigeon strutting across a wall
Itchy bird…
A bird on the beach

Pretty tree…
Pretty tree in the spring

And finally…
The sunlight shining through a tree
After much deliberation, I chose the final picture for submission, as this was the greatest reflection of natural beauty.  Though I was soooo tempted to submit the strutting pigeon.
I don’t fancy my chances, but I was just glad to be involved.
