Everyday Minerals eyeshadow pots and brush
Everyday Minerals
I was recently sent a couple of small but perfectly-formed makeup samples from a range I’d never heard of – Everyday Minerals.
The brand is available online, and while I couldn’t find a huge amount of reviews or information, I stumbled across their US site, which told me a bit more about the brand.
In a nutshell, Everyday Minerals is organic, vegan and eco-friendly.  I’m glad to report that
the product isn’t tested on animals.
One other thing I noticed was how reasonably priced the products were, with eyeshadows at £5.95, and mini blushers at £4.95, Everyday Minerals definitely falls into the mainstream, affordable category.
I was sent a shimmer eyeshadow in ‘Live Austin Live’, and a mini blusher in ‘Soco’.  See the swatches below:
Purple eyeshadow and pink blush swatches on hand
The eyeshadow a stunning deep shade of purple.  It would be great for contouring and shadowing in the crease line.  Its subtle shimmer will also be great for a party look.  I have a wedding coming up, and my outfit is blue and pink, so I may incorporate this shade into my look.
From a quick swatch, the colour comes on easily, with a few specks of the eyeshadow providing an intense pigmented finish.
Purple eyeshadow on a brush
Along with the eyeshahow, I was sent an eyeshadow brush.  The brush has really soft hairs, making it easy to collect pigments and apply to the eyes. The same goes for the blush, it’s deeply pigmented and a little goes a very long way.  Initially, I thought that the colour would be to pastel-like for Asian skin.  But it comes on in a nice deep shade of pink.  The only downside to the blush is that it comes in such a small pot, it’s hard to gather the colour onto a blush brush.

I’m looking forward to wearing the eyeshadow and blush, and will share some piccies when I do.
